I received this little set as a gift with purchase when I bought an Alpha-H travel pack a while ago, and I've been dutifully finishing off a bunch of random products that were already open so I could start with a clean slate and commit to my Alpha-H products in one go.
What I did was introduce the three products in this set first (to see what they were doing), then a week later I introduced the products in the other set, then a week after that I gave all Alpha-H products a rest to see how my skin reacted (not well - I've broken out), and then I brought all the Alpha-H products back into circulation the following week to see how my skin reacted again.
Happily my skin has improved already with the re-introduction of the Alpha-H products, so I can definitely say that they work well for me and I'm now going to sit back and look out for specials (maybe around Christmas/Boxing Day) so I can pick up some full sizes. Hurrah for good skincare!
This set contains a cream, a cleanser and a mask. I'm not sold on the mask yet - although I've seen that it has won some awards so I'll persist - but the other two items have gone straight to the wishlist.
This post will review the Liquid Gold Anti-ageing Cleanser and I'll do a separate post for each of the other two items in the set, plus a round-up post on the whole set once I've finished those.

Verdict
It was love at first use with this cleanser and I've given it an HG tag.
I'm surprised that I love it this much, considering I generally prefer foaming cleansers and this one doesn't foam. Despite that, it still does a remarkable job of cleansing the skin, and I think it has an exfoliating effect too.
It's a white cream that feels velvety and soothing on the skin. I have no idea how it works, but as soon as I put it on, my skin reacts like a happy kid who's finally been given a lollipop. Crap analogy but hopefully you get the picture (!).
The cleanser dissolves makeup and grime unbelievably well, and I don't need to double-cleanse with this product (although I often do a first wash with another, lesser cleanser first to make sure this one has a chance to penetrate my skin and do its good work).
It leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean, soft and supple, and I think it has a brightening and resurfacing effect too. Honestly, I can't rave about this one enough.
On the product claims, I'm inclined to believe all of them when it comes to this product - even the one suggesting that this cleanser has an impact on pores because I think it does, particularly when combined with other Alpha-H products.
All in all, a remarkable cleanser. Five stars from me.
