Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner - review
/
0 Comments
I've mentioned that I only came to the toner party recently (what kind of beauty junkie am I?!) and this was my first purchase in the toner department.
It was on sale at Coles and I'd read it was a good one, so I was happy to pay the measly $6 to give it a go. Super glad I did!
Just looks refreshing, doesn't it?
Nivea claims/product details:
- Formulated for normal and combination skin (works for dry skin too!)
- Tones deeply, removes residues and purifies for sensational fresh skin after cleansing
- Enriched with Vitamin E and contains Nivea's Hydra IQ moisture technology
- Moisturises the skin to keep its natural moisture balance
- Invigorates the skin due to its refreshing formula
- Very mild
- Leaves your complexion looking fresh, firm and revitalised
- Dermatologically approved
- Apply by gently massaging with small circles to face, neck and décolleté with cotton pad, avoiding the eye area
- RRP $7.95 for 200ml, but definitely shop around - it's always on special somewhere and it's widely available (supermarkets included)
Verdict
I'm absolutely in love with this product - and praise the universe that it's a cheapie! (Don't you hate falling in love with expensive products?!?!)
It completely lives up to its claims on all counts. Even when I think I've cleansed well (I'm talking after scrubbing myself silly in the shower), there's STILL dirt left behind and this product quickly deals with that - with only one application.
It smells so wonderful and refreshing, I get a lift each time I use it ('ja ja very invigorating' ; )). So much so, I've been known to open the bottle and give it a sniff when I need a pick up.
What a weirdo ; )
My skin loves it and my face looks fresher and brighter after use. It's not harsh or astringent, and it somehow manages to be gentle while still getting the job done. It's great for removing not only dirt, but also makeup.
One thing I've noticed with toner is that you get through the bottle reasonably quickly (I guess you lose quite a bit on the cotton pad), but for $6 I'm not concerned about that. I like it so much, I almost want to shower myself in it - just for the refreshing factor.
I urge you to try this if you haven't already.
