My second last post on the Happy Skincare range! (For now, until I try some more products from the company hehe.)

A quick recap: I've been using Happy products on-and-off for almost a year now and really love them, and I decided it was time to review all the items I've used. I started off reviewing the amazing cleansing balm (see here), and in that post you'll see some background on Happy if you're interested. You can also learn more about this awesome Australian company on its website (see here).

For the rest of my Happy posts, you'll see them in the right panel of this blog - all done over the last 10 days.

Please note: while this page does contain affiliate links, I don't put my name to anything I won't stand behind completely. If I don't love something, I won't sing its praises on this blog : )

Verdict

I won't compare this to the other Happy oils I've reviewed since this is a dedicated facial oil, while the others have broader uses.

I love this product for so many reasons. The smell: it's so calming and beautifully herbal without being overpowering. The effect: it hydrates, nourishes and plumps, without leaving your face looking greasy. I not only use it as part of my skincare routine, but also to 'un-dry' my skin (eg if I've applied a setting powder that has enhanced my wrinkles, I'll pat a bit of this over the top and take a few years back off my face).

I do get dry, flaky patches in winter sometimes, and this deals with those quickly. I've noticed on the product instructions that you can mix it with mineral makeup for a matte look, so I'll definitely be giving that a try!

Yes, it lives up to its claims. It's also reasonably priced and a little goes a long way, so the oil will last you for ages and it's a good investment.

I've tried a lot of oils on my face (including eg rosehip oils from different brands) and this remains my favourite. Can't recommend it enough.

To see what others have to say about this product, have a look at the testimonials/reviews on Happy's website.

If you're interested in this but don't want to buy a full size before trying it first, it's part of Happy's great value sample pack, which comes with free shipping.

That's all from me! Hope you get a chance to try this one : )
