Hello and welcome to another Beauty Loop unboxing post.

I've been hanging out for this box for a while, and I wonder if it actually arrived a week later than it normally would because I was expecting it last week - although perhaps Mecca has changed the schedule for this year.

Anyhoo! Let's have a look.

We received a face cream, a perfume, a lip pencil and a cleanser.

It's a well-rounded box and a pretty good one at that - I was excited when I opened it. I was also pleased to see that the face cream is a decent 8ml in size and the cleanser is 30ml, and I don't think I've ever seen a 30ml product wind up in one of these boxes so that's a positive.

Let's have a quick look at each item in turn.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Let's Go Crazy (RRP $41 AUD for 2.4g; received 1.8g sample)

This is described as a long-lasting matte lip pencil that's enriched with vitamin e to ensure comfort. You can use it as a lip liner or for all over colour.

I've always wanted to try one of these because I've heard such good things about them, but I've seen the swatches of Let's Go Crazy and it's a super bright pink - so I'm not sure I would wear it and I'm considering gifting it.

Still, the sample is almost as large as the full-size so it's a generous inclusion, and I do want to review the formula so I may end up keeping it. We'll see.

AmorePacific Time Response Skin Reserve Cream (RRP $659 AUD for 50ml or $220 AUD for 15ml; received 8ml sample)

This is apparently infused with AmorePacific's patented green tea blend, and is described as a rich face cream that locks in moisture to help prevent future signs of ageing.

I'm looking forward to trying this, but by golly the price-tag freaks me out. But given that the sample size is 8ml (15ml costs $220 AUD), at least we can say this is a super generous sample that's valued at something in the order of $120 AUD. That's a lot of cash for a tiny tub! We'll see how it goes. It'd better be bloody good at that price-point.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser (RRP $29 AUD for 50ml or $58 AUD for 120ml)

This is a sulphate-free, foaming cleanser that should remove impurities, oil and makeup. It's formulated with AHAs and natural fruit enzymes to detoxify without stripping skin of moisture and it should refine skin texture.

Now I've used this before (see my review here) and I did enjoy it, but it dried my skin out so I wasn't surprised to discover that it had a pH of between 7 and 8, which is too high - especially for my dry skin. Still, I'll happily use this travel size occasionally over the summer when my skin's less dry, and it's a generous sample so no complaints there!

Le Labo Rose 31 EDP (RRP $280 AUD for 50ml or $413 AUD for 100ml; received 0.75ml sample)

This is described as a unique and modern take on a traditional rose fragrance. It includes floral and warm, spicy and woodsy notes.

Le Labo fragrances normally don't appeal to me but I'll be happy to try this one. I certainly wouldn't buy it, given the whopping price-tag, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes - despite the fact that I've never been a fan of rose fragrances.

In sum

That's all from me!

I'm happy with my box and I'm looking forward to trying everything. I'm especially pleased with how generous this box is in terms of RRP value, and it may well be the most generous box I've received from Mecca to date.

Do let me know in the comments what you received in your box and whether you're happy with everything: I'd love to hear.

Hope all's well with you, and speak soon x
