Natio Ageless Hydrating Mask - review

I really thought I'd reviewed this mask but looks like I haven't so best I do it today because it will be gone very soon (it's currently on my Project Pan list). After that I really need to start getting stuck into empties posts because the month is almost over and I haven't written any during May: it's been a busy month!
Anyhoo. This mask. I've given it a good test run and I'm going to start using it on the body after I've reviewed it, just to get through it. It does nothing for me and life's too short to waste time on masks that don't work for me.
Natio claims/product details:
- Deeply conditioning mask to hydrate, refresh and re-energise the face
- Offers an essential moisture boost containing natural organics to help improve skin cell structure and promote natural lift
- Used as a weekly treatment, the mask helps uncover a bright, healthy complexion
- Modern skin technology delivers energising vitamins and antioxidants, leaving skin silky, firm and supple
- Natural papaya and sesame oil help soothe and moisturise
- Suitable for all skin types
- RRP $18.95 AUD for 100ml, but do shop around
Verdict
I've been using this product for ages and it's yet to do anything for me so I'm really looking forward to finishing it and moving on to something else.
It's a white product that's a gel/cream hybrid in texture and it has a light herbal scent. It spreads and applies well, and I don't have any issue with it stinging my skin or drying it out while I've got it on so that's a plus.
That's about where the good stuff ends, however, because it doesn't do a thing for me. It's not hydrating (if anything, my face feels drier after use) and it doesn't get in there and nourish my skin where I need it most.
I also haven't noticed any other positive benefits - so it doesn't eg brighten, soothe or clarify my skin - and I honestly think the whole process of using it is a waste of time, or at least it is in my case.
On the claims: no it's not deeply conditioning; no it doesn't hydrate, refresh or re-energise; no it doesn't offer an essential moisture boost; no it doesn't improve skin cell structure or promote natural lift; no it doesn't make my skin look brighter or healthier; and no it doesn't leave my skin feeling silky, firm or supple.
Overall I don't like this product and I can't recommend it. It does nothing for me and the whole process of using it has been a complete waste of time, so after this review I'll use it on the body to get through it.
Not for me.
