Tarocco Cleansing Body Wash with Sicilian Blood Oranges - review
/
0 Comments
As mentioned in an earlier post, it's been a while since I've used a dedicated body wash because I've been busy using up Memebox cleansers that I didn't like (anything I didn't like using on my face got sent to the body wash section), so it's been nice to start using products like this one again.
While it's not the best body wash I've used, it's fine for the price and it does the job well.
Tarocco claims/product details:
- A purifying wash that's filled with hydrating benefits from the extracts of Italian olive oil
- Also contains the strong antioxidant benefits from the extracts of Sicilian red oranges
- Refreshing and invigorating scent of Sicilian red oranges
- Moisturising and naturally rich in vitamin C
- Cleanses body or hands without drying, leaving skin soft, smooth and lightly scented
- RRP $6 AUD for 50ml, but do shop around
Verdict
There's not a hell of a lot to say about body washes, so I'll be brief.
This one foams nicely and spreads itself well, so you only need to use a small amount each time. I use a blueberry-sized dollop on my shower puff and that's enough for my whole body, so even this little trial size should last a good while.
It does smell like oranges, although the scent doesn't linger on the skin as claimed - at least, it doesn't on me.
On the other product claims: I do think it has a cleansing/purifying effect, but I don't think it's particularly hydrating. If anything it strips the skin a bit, and I notice a tight feeling in my hands especially after use.
That's not a major issue for me because I like my gels to clean really well, but if you're expecting this to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised, I reckon you'll be disappointed.
All in all, a good product for the price but not one I would consider buying.
