Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturiser - review
/
0 Comments
I received this in Marie Claire's Summer Edit of The Parcel and I'm really loving it. So much so that I'm getting through it all too quickly, so it was definitely time to review it before it ends up in an empties post!
According to the product card that came with The Parcel, Jergens products have been a staple in the bathroom cabinets of American women for more than a century - and now this body-loving range is finally available on our shores. Yes, we're always rather behind here ; )
Jergens claims/product details:
- Nourishes and heals
- Repairs for visibly healthier skin
- With an illuminating hydralucence blend and vitamins C, E and B5
- For extra dry skin
- Penetrates through five layers of the skin's surface
- RRP $5.99 for 100ml
- Dermatologist tested
Verdict
I'll definitely be looking for more of this once I've run out of body cream. As I've mentioned before, I like myself a heavier body cream that feels super nourishing and this delivers.
As to claims, I've no idea about the five layer thing but I can say that it absolutely feels like it's healing and repairing. My skin looks and feels better after use and the hydration lasts all day.
Some lasses might find it too heavy/greasy, but it suits my dry skin well. It has a pleasant, inoffensive soapy smell that's not too strong but also lasts a bit so you feel clean and refreshed after use.
Very glad to have tried this. I can see why it's so popular!
Love.
