Tosowoong Super Aqua Cooling Gel - review

This is another product from Memebox Special #31 Earth & Sea Cosmetics, and it's one I'm enjoying using.
Maybe my favourite thing about it is the look of it (sounds bad, I know) - but it looks so lovely and soothing sitting there in the jar. Plus the jar itself is thick glass and nice quality, so it's likely one I'll re-use once the gel is done.
Anyhoo, you're probably more interested in what the product itself is like ; )
Tosowoong claims/product details:
- An ultra-cooling cream gel that provides long-lasting freshness and comfort to the face and body
- Full of minerals and nutrients from glacier waters
- Ideal for cooling overheated skin and relieving irritated skin
- Deep sea minerals also strengthen and moisturise skin, leaving it firm and supple
- RRP $34 for 80g
Verdict
I've been using this for a while now - it was a product I had lined up for daily use once summer hit.
I don't use it as eg a day or night cream, but to refresh my skin throughout the day and help combat the dryness that pregnancy has brought. So I can confirm that it sits well over makeup and has a cooling effect.
It's a little sticky to use (gels often are), like aloe vera - so do be aware of that. It's not the best gel I've used and while there's a slight brightening effect, I don't notice much in terms of plumping and hydrating etc.
While I'll use it and I enjoy opening the jar each day, the best thing about this product is definitely the look of it: the beautiful tub is somehow calming (might be something to do with the marine-y colour).
Ok.
