Asap Ultimate Hydration - review

I received this cream ages ago as a free gift with an order, along with the Asap Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub (reviewed here). I didn't think much of the scrub at all, but I fell in love with this moisturiser straight away.
Asap claims/product details:
- Super rich, nourishing, anti-ageing cream
- Contains evening primrose oil, sweet almond oil and shea butter to help provide maximum hydration while noticeably improving skin elasticity, tone and texture
- Delivers immediate and visible results to dry and prematurely aged skin
- Also works to reduce the appearance of pigmentation
- Niacinamide improves skin hydration by increasing ceramides
- Hyaluronic acid supports the formation and maintenance of collagen, and binds moisture to the skin
- Hydrasalinol helps increase skin moisture, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Suitable for all skin types excluding acne
- To use: apply to clean, dry skin whenever extra hydration is required
- RRP $85 for 50ml
What I love about this cream is that it's easily one of the most nourishing creams I've ever used. Some might find it too heavy, but my skin is super dry at the moment and it's drinking this stuff up like you wouldn't believe.
It's a white cream that smells faintly of oranges, and from the moment I put it on, my skin feels so much better and loses that tight feeling that I often get in the cooler months. If your skin needs an extra boost of hydration, this is definitely a great cream to reach for.
Because it leaves my skin so smooth and hydrated, it's a great base for applying makeup. It also means I use less foundation because the foundation glides on more smoothly than it does without this cream. Plus my skin looks much better after using this, so there's less reason to cover up my face.
As for claims, I do think it meets those: the cream does improve my skin's texture, look and feel, and it does deliver immediate results to dry skin. My face looks more plumped after using this and my fine lines disappear.
Plus I like the pump dispenser because it's more hygienic and means it's easier to control the amount of product you pump out each time.
I've already started looking for a full-size of this product, and I'll pick one up if I can find a good discount. The $85 price tag means it is quite expensive, but you do get 50ml of product and I've already seen it more cheaply from some online sellers.
I'm in love with this! Top marks from me : )
