Biology Equilibrium Body Lotion No. 304 - review

We received this sample body cream in March's Violet Box. I hadn't heard of the brand before and I do love trying new products - plus I love the packaging - so I was super excited to see it.
Fortunately, it was a product that feels as good as it looks.
Since Biology isn't a well-known brand, I thought I'd say a little about the company. All information (including the product details below) is taken from Biology's website.
About Biology
At Biology, we believe in smart skincare. We combine advanced pH balanced formulas, innovative active plant DNA complexes and pure steam distilled essential oil blends, which all work in synergy with the body’s natural mechanisms.
The quest for knowledge and understanding of the human body and its environment is the driving force behind our ongoing creation and innovation.
Extensive research has discovered astonishing new bio-actives extracted from Australian natives, sustainably sourced from the unique bio-diverse ecosystem. These innovative bio-actives have been extensively clinically tested for efficacy and provide visible results.
Sounds good to me!
Biology claims/product details:
Verdict
I love this for so many reasons.
First, it smells exactly like lemonade icy-poles, but not in an overpowering way. YUM.
Second, it's an Australian brand that I hadn't heard of before and I do love discovering new products, plus this cream makes me think it's a great brand and one I'd like to explore more - particularly after I looked into the story behind the company.
Third, I loved this product from the moment I used it: it's nourishing and hydrating without weighing the skin down. Plus I like the idea of the active plant DNA this contains and the steam distilled oils used to create it.
As for product claims, having used most of the 30ml sample - which is plenty to write this review, since a little goes a long way - I'd say they're all true. I do think it relieves my dry skin and there's definitely some rejuvenating action going on whenever I use it.
Big ticks from me! I'll definitely consider buying this in future : )
