I received this face and body oil in Memebox Special #60 Oil Therapy. It was the most expensive item in that box and, along with the Migabee Verbena Oil Serum (see review here), it's my favourite product from the bundle.
Lucky, since there's so much of it!
ProYou claims/product details:
- Contains a luxurious blend of vita complex, camellia oil and jojoba oil to soothe and rejuvenate your face and body
- Leaves your skin soft, supple and clarified
- To use: rub it where you want to, massage and then rinse off; add a few drops to the bath; or apply it all over after your shower
- RRP $37 for 165ml
Verdict
This is really lovely and I'm enjoying using it.
It has a nice, sweet scent that's not too overpowering and a pale lemon colour.
It absorbs really well and, although it's an oil, it's not too greasy and I'm happy to use it on both my face and body because it's quite thin in texture and doesn't leave a slick residue.
It's hydrating and my skin's thanking me for it, particularly now that the weather's getting colder and my skin's getting drier. I'm not sure why you'd want to wash it off after use: I'm using it all over and leaving it on!
You only need a small amount - I guess in part because it's thin - and a little goes a long way so the bottle will last for ages. I'm happy about that because my oil stock is running low and I still have six months left of my spending ban!
Yes it lives up to its claims. Ticks from me.
