Tuscan Tan Wash Off Bronzing Mousse - review
/
0 Comments
I picked up this tanning mousse a while back via the Facebook Bellabox Swap group. It's taken me ages to trial and review it because, if I'm going to use a self-tanner, I tend to use ones that don't wash off when you shower.
But I'm glad I've finally given this a go: it's a great little product, and one that would suit those who don't want a tan that lasts.
Tuscan Tan claims/product details:
- Commitment free is what this tan is all about - apply it when you need it and wash it off when you're done
- A no-fuss, maintenance-free solution to an instant tan on the go
- Dries in seconds
- Transfer resistant
- Tan will last until the next shower
- RRP $35 for 150ml

Verdict
This is a decent little tanner, and if you're after a tan you can wash off straight away, I would recommend this one.
It's easy to apply and you only need a thin layer to get some colour. I need two layers if I really want the tan to show up, but that's partly because my skintone is medium anyway. If you're paler, I think one layer would do the job.
I'm pretty lazy when it comes to slapping on tanning creams and don't want to spend ages blending and making sure things are even etc. But I get a good, even tan from this one so I'd say it's pretty foolproof. There's nothing worse than a self-tanner that gives you brown streaks!
The other bonus about this product is the colour: it's a nice, nutty brown. Not a glimmer of orange in sight. This means your tan is going to look natural, which is of course what you want from a product like this.
It does wash off easily in the shower and doesn't leave you with patches etc. It's such a nice product and so easy to apply, that I kind of wish it did last between showers!
Ticks from me. The only issue I think is the price - it's pretty expensive. Having said this, I think the bottle will last for a while because you don't need to use very much each time, and it's worth it for the natural colour and ease of use alone.
