Teeez Trend Cosmetics, Easy on the Eyes Eye Pencil in Black de Luxe - review

I wound up with two of these pencils via Lust Have It and Violet Box. A bummer because this really isn't a great product, but I've tried another Teeez eye pencil that's smashing so I'm not sure what's going on there. You'd think that if the brand could nail one formula, then it would be used across the board.
Anyhoo.
Teeez claims/product details:
- Silky soft formula
- Waterproof and long lasting
- Gives your eyes a bold finishing touch, come rain or shine
- Easy application
- Intense black colour
- RRP $26 for 1.5g
Many complained about this pencil when it first showed up in Lust Have It last year: as you can see above, it shifts with the faintest wipe of a finger.
Below I left it for a good ten minutes and blew on it too, before giving the other end of the line a gentle wipe. Obviously it doesn't dry properly and is always going to shift if it gets rubbed - which on my puffy eyes it's always going to.
Below I applied a strong line on each eye. An hour later, only the lines at the outer edges are really visible. Not what you want from an eyeliner!
Obviously I'm no fan of this product. It's meant to be a waterproof, long lasting pencil and it's definitely not that.
It fares better when set with a powder but I personally don't think you should have to rely on that to get an eyeliner to do its job. Plenty of better products exist and I'd much rather use those than use something like this that transfers and gives me panda eyes in all of two seconds.
If you don't have puffy eyes or oily eyelids (and you can be bothered setting it with a powder), then I think this eyeliner would be ok. Unfortunately that's not me, so it's not one I'll be able to use.
The best thing about this product is the packaging: as you may know, I'm a big fan of Teeez packaging and this is a great display item. But I prefer my display items to be functional too!
No ticks from me : (
