TONI&GUY Glamour Volume Plumping Whip - review

I received this product as a GWP from Priceline and, while I can tell that it's a decent product, I won't be keeping it because it's not designed for my thick, wavy hair.
Even though it's meant for fine hair that needs volume, I gave it a crack anyway because it's also meant to help with flyaways and give your hair some bounce, and who doesn't want frizz-free, bouncy hair?
TONI&GUY claims/product details:
- Lightweight whip that infuses hair with healthy volume and all-day bounce
- A defence against flyaways
- Hair never looks frizzy or poufy - just plentiful
- A volumising formula that lifts flat hair from the roots
- To use: work a walnut-sized amount through the roots of damp hair; style as usual
- RRP $15.99 for 90ml
This is a good little product, it's just not something I need or will use: it's more for fine-haired lasses.
My hair does look a little fuller after using it, although it didn't help that well with my frizz unfortunately (few products do - those frizzy bits are pretty coarse and hard to tame).
I've had a look at other reviews of this product and a few people have noted that it doesn't weigh your hair down or leave a film, but I don't agree. I definitely notice a film on my hair after using this and it does make it a little duller and heavier, but not to any great degree so don't discount this for that issue alone.
It smells nice and a little goes a long way: I tried using the recommended walnut-sized amount and that was far too much, so I suggest starting with less than half of that amount and going from there.
I think it's reasonably priced and you can usually get it on special at one of the big supermarkets or pharmacies, so do shop around if you're interested in this product.

While I won't be keeping this because it doesn't suit my hair, it's of good-enough quality that I'm now interested in trying other products from the brand.
Definitely worth trying if you have fine, flat hair.
