Tocca Hand Cream Set in Stella, Cleopatra and Florence - review
/
0 Comments
I've reviewed each of the hand creams in this set individually (links below), but I thought I'd also do a quick round-up post on the set as a whole in case anyone's interested in that, as opposed to any individual cream.
These are some of the nicest hand creams I've used - they stand out for their beautiful scents in particular - and I definitely recommend picking one up for yourself or as Christmas presents when you're strapped for ideas. You can't go wrong with gorgeous hand creams, especially ones that don't cost an arm and a leg!
One of the things I love about this set is that it's so beautifully presented, and I would almost buy it for that reason alone.
Indeed, I've kept the box and now have it on display on my dresser: it's simple but I always keep pretty boxes and stand them in rows at the back of my shelves, and this one was always going to be part of the arrangement.
Plus the creams themselves are divine and I get a lift whenever I use them. You have to love that!

Verdict
I like the scent of each cream but the Florence and Cleopatra ones are the nicest of the three. I do like Stella, but I prefer the Stella fragrance (which I own) and the hand cream doesn't smell quite as good as the perfume. It's still nice but the other two creams in the set are more interesting, complex and fresh.
I've given all three creams an HG tag because they're beautiful and feel so nice on the skin. They all have a velvety texture that's not too thick and not too thin, and they absorb well and feel wonderfully hydrating.
I also like the size of the tubes: 30ml is a great purse size, and I wouldn't want anything larger than that because I get bored of things all too easily and want to move on to something else.
Tocca claims/product details:
- A selection of exquisite hand creams delicately perfumed with Tocca's best-selling fragrances
- Enriched with a blend of shea butter, avocado oil and aloe, these luxurious hand creams will soothe and nourish tired, dry hands
- Delicately scented, the set includes 30ml each of: Cleopatra (a fresh blend of sweet grapefruit and cucumber), Florence (a subtle bergamot and gardenia combination) and Stella (zesty Italian blood orange)
- RRP $22 AUD for the set

I've reviewed Stella here, Florence here and Cleopatra here. Stella indeed smells like oranges, Florence smells wonderfully crisp and green, and Cleopatra smells fresh, complex and light. The scents linger on the skin but they're never overpowering and I enjoy using them for the fragrances alone.
A little goes a long way and each cream leaves my hands feeling silky but not greasy. The effect lasts a while and I need to use less of these than I do other hand creams - both when it comes to putting them on (you only need a small amount) and also in terms of how many times I need to reapply throughout the day (only twice daily applications with these).
Another great thing about this set is the price: I'm more than happy to pay a measly $22 for 120ml total of hand cream, and the set will last me at least a year - not bad at all!
Love.
