Naked Tan Body Polish, Walnut & Jojoba - review

I picked this up in the Lust Have It shop a while back - it was one of those wonderful '100% points redemption' purchases, so I didn't pay anything for it except shipping.

I've already used the Naked Tan Creme de La Creme body cream, which I loved, so I had high hopes for this product.

Naked Tan claims/product details:
  • Made from walnut shell and avocado oil to scrub away the day and deeply nourish skin, leaving it smooth and soft
  • Perfect for preparing your skin for a spray tan
  • Luxurious scrub made from high quality, natural ingredients including shea butter and jojoba
  • Great for sensitive skin types
  • Makes skin feel revived and renewed
  • Scent of coconut and refreshing essence of orange oil
  • To use: moisten skin with water or apply in shower; massage gently in circular motion over face or body to remove excess oils and impurities and reveal fresh new skin cells; rinse thoroughly
  • RRP $21.95 for 150ml, but do shop around

Verdict

This is a lovely scrub and it smells wonderful - there's definitely coconut and orange in there.

It's creamy and applies well and I'm enjoying using it. It's only just scrubby enough for me (I'm talking about the amount of scrubby matter in there); as you may know I prefer a harsher scrub so I'm sometimes hard to please in that department.

Naked Tan markets its line as being tan friendly, so this product is aimed at preparing your skin before eg a spray tan. I'm not using it for that purpose - I'm using it because it's luxurious and smells nice and I'm something of a body scrub junkie. I'm mentioning this because whether this product prepares your skin well enough for a tan is something I can't comment on.

Otherwise I'd say this body polish lives up to its claims: it does leave your skin feeling renewed and refreshed, and the scrub does the job while still feeling nourishing and hydrating at the same time.

A lovely product.
