Natio Spa Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion - review
/
0 Comments
I only have two or three applications left of this body cream so it's definitely time I reviewed it before it's gone. I bought it on clearance at my local Priceline for $7 so it was good value and I'm glad I picked it up.
Thankfully I do enjoy it, and I say thankfully because I haven't had a great experience so far with Natio's body care. However this product is decent and I recommend it. More on that below.
Natio claims/product details:
- Replenish and revitalise dry, stressed skin with this fast-acting, fast-absorbing body moisturiser
- Rich in pure plant extracts, the formulation provides light yet intense hydration to deeply nourish and soothe skin
- Quickly absorbed, the lotion leaves skin smoother, younger-looking and with a soft, lingering scent of coconut and lemon
- Certified organic coconut water, shea butter, jojoba, grape seed and sesame oils deeply nourish and moisturise
- Natural coconut and lemon have a luscious, fresh scent
- RRP $14.95 for 250ml, but do shop around
Verdict
This is a good, basic, everyday body lotion and I recommend it.
It's a cream-coloured product with a coconut scent that I enjoy. It's reasonably thin in texture but there's also something rich about it, so it's perfect for those who struggle with dry, dehydrated skin.
I've been using mine for months now and I'm only getting to the end of the bottle now, so a little goes a long way and I'm not burning through it like I do most body creams. This is reason enough for me to repurchase it: body cream is something I speed through too quickly, so I'm pleased that this one isn't vanishing before my eyes.
It spreads and absorbs well, and although it does leave a slight residue, it's not super tacky and it doesn't have a greasy after-feel. Another plus. Indeed, I just applied some to my hands and I've been able to keep typing without wiping the gunk from my fingers, which is unusual for me so I'm pleased about that.
The main thing I like about this product is that it hydrates and nourishes my skin beautifully so I never have dry, uncomfortable skin when I'm using it. So if you have dry skin like I do, this is definitely one to try - although I still think you would like this if your skin is normal because it's not a heavy product and it doesn't feel as though it clogs pores.
On the claims: yes this replenishes dry, stressed skin; yes it's fast-acting and fast-absorbing; and yes it hydrates, nourishes and soothes my skin.
Overall this is an excellent body cream and I recommend it. It works, it's not too expensive if you can find it on special (which you often can), and it does exactly what it says it will do. Plus it lasts well because you don't need much per application, and it also comes with a pump - which always makes life easier.
Lovely.
