BareMinerals Skinsorials Normal to Dry Starter Set - unboxing
/
0 Comments
I received this BareMinerals skincare set for Mother's Day and I've been itching to open it since then, but I've been good and have waited until I finished a bunch of other products first.
I got it because I'd asked for it, after having tried some samples of BareMinerals' new skincare and really liking them, so I hope the products in this kit live up to expectation and work for my skin.
BareMinerals claims/product details:
- Start anew with this nourishing skincare suite, perfect for normal to dry skin types
- This set of skin saviours includes the Pure Plush Gentle Deep Cleansing Foam (50g), SkinLongevity Vital Power Infusion (50ml) and the Bare Haven Moisturising Soft Cream (30g)
- Designed to restore moisture and smooth, soften and refine the complexion
- Perfect for those seeking a little extra moisture replenishment
- RRP $88 AUD for the kit
What I'm going to do now is introduce each item briefly, then later on I'll review everything separately before coming back and doing a round-up post on the set as a whole.
BareMinerals Pure Plush Gentle Deep Cleansing Foam (RRP $32 AUD for 120g; received 50g)
According to the product details, this is a creamy foaming cleanser that should gently wash away makeup, dirt and impurities. It claims to give you deeply cleansed, fresh skin without any associated stripping or tightness, and it's suitable for all skin types. It's infused with mineral-rich sea salts, elderflower extract and rosemary extract for a softened, revitalised complexion.
I've been desperate to open a new cleanser for a while now but I've been waiting until I've finished one more (not far away now). Yes it's described as a foaming cleanser but it doesn't contain soap or SLS so I'm hoping that it's gentle. Fingers crossed.
BareMinerals SkinLongevity Vital Power Infusion (RRP $85 AUD for 50ml; received 50ml)
This claims to give you resilient, youthful-looking skin. It's powered by the patented Long Life Herb Extract, which is derived from the resilient, nutrient-rich herb renowned for its tenacious ability to thrive. The first of its kind, SkinLongevity combines the weightlessness and absorption of an essence with the efficacy and potency of a serum for the ultimate hybrid formulation. Fine lines and wrinkles are softened, moisture is restored and skin is adorned with a youthful radiance.
I used a sample of this and remember really enjoying it, so I'm looking forward to bringing this into my routine shortly. You get a full-size in the kit and it basically makes up the value of the whole set, so I've essentially received the other two items for free. Woot woot!
BareMinerals Bare Haven Essential Moisturising Soft Cream (RRP $51 AUD for 50g; received 30g)
The claims to be a silky-soft cream that will revitalise and revive skin, and it's designed to replenish moisture levels in normal to dry skin types. Powered by Intuitive Mineral Moisture Technology, it should deliver and lock in hydration, supporting overall resilience and suppleness. Enriched with a blend of peptides, ceramides and amino acids to soften and smooth, refining texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
It's been a while since I tried a good moisturiser so I'm hoping this one works well. I'm looking for something that's lightweight enough to get me through the summer months but also nourishing enough to deal with my dry skin. We'll see.
In sum
That's all from me. I'm so excited about opening this little kit, I can't tell you - it's been a long time coming!
I'm especially excited because I don't like the Trilogy serum I'm using at the moment so I'm looking forward to finishing that one and moving on to something that works better for me.
Hope all's well with you, and speak soon x
