Teeez Paradise Perfect Lipgloss in Sheer Gold - review
/
0 Comments
We received this gloss in an LHI FAB box a while back and I decided to dust it off again this month and use it as my daily go-to gloss. Happily I'd forgotten how much I like it.
I've mentioned before how much I love Teeez packaging, so the brand gets points there too. I've had this gloss and the box on display for ages, and it's only recently that I decided I should start using it properly.
Teeez claims/product details:
- Volumising effect gives your lips a perfectly pouty look
- Simultaneously revitalises the skin
- Lip plumping and moisturising
- Paraben free
- One available colour: sheer gold
- Shelf-life once opened: 12 months
- RRP $25 for 6.2ml
See above and below swatches. There's a bit of gold glitter in there but you can't really see it when it's applied to the lips - it just makes you look a bit shimmery. A great product to chuck over the top of any lipstick to ramp up the volume.
The lip swatch below shows there's some definite plumping action - you can barely see any lines on my lips.
Verdict
This is a lovely product and one I'm enjoying using. It smells exactly like the clear Haribo gummi bears (so fake pineapple, but a nice fake pineapple). As mentioned, it's clear with golden flecks and works well over a coloured lipstick or just on its own - the flecks aren't too much and just add a nice shimmer.
As for claims, this product is plumping and moisturising and I like wearing it. This is one of the reasons I picked it for my 'how long does it take to finish...?' test this month.
It's a little sticky on so do be aware of that if you're not a fan of sticky lips. I personally don't mind the texture, and I think the stickiness helps it stay put longer than many glosses, which tend to transfer really easily and last all of about two seconds. You'll get a longer wear out of this one, although you will need to reapply it throughout the day as you would with any gloss.
In sum, I really like this product. I probably wouldn't pay $25 for it (damn you Australian prices), but I'm glad it showed up in the Lust Have It FAB box.
Have you tried any Teeez products? Let me know if you've got a favourite. I think the Chain of Stones nail polish I tried is still my favourite Teeez product, but I'd certainly like to try more.
Ticks from me.
