A Happy a Day: Happy Skincare's Raindrops on Roses Hydrating Tonic - review
/
2 Comments
Day 2 of my Happy a Day series : )
I won't re-hash everything in this post (eg background on Happy Skincare etc) - for all that, please see my first post here.
What I will say quickly is that Happy Skincare is one of my favourite skincare brands and this tonic is my second favourite product of theirs, after the Cloud 9 Deep Cleansing Balm. It might have been my favourite, except that it's equal first with my other top face spray, MAC's Fix+. The cleansing balm stands out because there's nothing else like it on the market - no wonder it's become a cult item, and Happy's best-selling product.
I first tried the Raindrops on Roses Hydrating Tonic when I bought the four-step sample pack, which came with free shipping. I was so in love with the products - this and the cleansing balm especially - that I went out and bought the full sizes when Happy ran a promotion.
Note: You can sign up for Happy's newsletter here if you'd like to be on the list to learn about special promotions etc.
Note also that I'm a Happy Skincare affiliate and this page does contain affiliate links. Having said this, I sought out Happy's affiliate program because I wanted to promote their products on my blog (I really believe in them); if I didn't love the products and the company, I wouldn't have done this.
Happy claims/product details:
- For all skin types (especially dry and sensitive skin)
- Hydrating, rejuvenating, gently exfoliating, soothing, refreshing and uplifting rosewater tonic
- RRP $26.40 for 100ml
- 100% natural; 96% organic; vegan
- Australian owned and made
- Not tested on animals
- Contains: rose otto and organic aloe vera juice; organic pomegranate (which extends the life of collagen and elastin-producing cells and repairs oxidative stress from the environment, leaving your skin smoother and stronger); Kakadu plum for its vitamin C content (which is essential for cell regeneration and radiant skin; it also gently exfoliates keeping pores clear); and MSM to deliver the much-needed beauty mineral, sulphur (MSM works in harmony with vitamin C to boost collagen production, thereby revitalising, softening and smoothing your skin)
- Use to rebalance after cleansing and prepare for moisturising, set makeup, and as a pick-me-up
- Like a sports drink for your skin

Verdict
This is a truly sensational product. Absolutely lives up to its claims and I reckon it really does smell like raindrops on roses!
It's a great refresher, a wonderful plumper and it just feels nice on - it definitely lifts your spirits each time you use it.
What I love most about this is that it delivers: my skin looks and feels clearer, cleaner and fresher when I use it, and it definitely offers some rejuvenating/youth-promoting results.
I can't recommend this product enough - it's just wonderful. And it comes at a reasonable price: what's not to love?
A thousand ticks from me : )
