Clarins Beauty Flash Balm - review

Where would a beauty blog be without a review of this one?!
While Clarins isn't my favourite skincare brand, this product is definitely a stand-out and has become a staple in many lasses' beauty armouries. Including mine.
Prices for this vary so do shop around. Adore Beauty sells it at $45 for 50ml, which is pretty reasonable compared to some vendors (the normal price seems to be around $55). But do look out for specials and note that the tube is a decent size and will last you for ages: mine has now lasted almost a year, and there's still quite a bit left.
Clarins claims/product details:
- The secret of instant radiance; erases signs of fatigue
- Ideal for a quick 'pick-me-up' for tired, stressed skin
- For all skin types
- Promotes immediate and long-lasting radiance
- Firms and helps minimise fine lines and wrinkles: skin becomes smooth and soft
- Strengthens and refines the contours of the face: skin regains firmness and suppleness
- Makeup looks exceptionally radiant
- Instantly moisturises, brightens and tightens facial contours so skin looks rested and relaxed
- Olive and witch hazel extracts help smooth the skin’s surface, diffusing the look of lines and wrinkles
- Soothing bisabolol helps restore skin’s youthful glow
- Preps skin for perfect makeup application and hours of luminous wear
- Application: morning or evening, after thorough cleansing and toning, apply (without massaging) a very thin layer over the face, neck and eye area; apply makeup immediately, if desired; can also be used as a facial mask two or three times a week
Verdict
How can I sing this one's praises without sounding like a complete loser?! You won't believe it until you try it? It will happen overnight, and it will happen? I can't believe it's not butter?
My golly. If you haven't tried this, please please do. I remember when I tried it the first time: I'd heard great things about it but had my doubts (how much could it really do?), but I was an instant convert. It really does freshen, brighten and tighten. You really will look better and your skin will glow.
Amazeballs. Lives up to its claims, and then some. Can't live without it. An HG product and one I'll come back to again and again.
